Do you mean sample code or sample error codes?
Sample code is much the same as on distributed platforms for obvious reasons, and the error codes are standard (and documented).
I suspect I'm misunderstanding your question.... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Ok, confused now
I didn't know you could use COBOL with message broker. On any platform. Base product yes, but not broker.
Certainly not aware of any sample code (singular) or specific exception handling codes (plural).
You need a better mainframe person than me. One will be along in a minute. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I have earlier worked on MQ series which was written in NATURAL(mainframe 4GL language)
I was just wondering how a MQ series code written in COBOL differs from a code written in NATURAL in design, exception handling etc...
Thanks

So you want Sample code for WebSphere MQ, that is written in COBOL.
Which is shipped with the product, and your mainframe system administrator should be able to tell you where it is. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
