Since I usually don't record system objects when backing up a queue manager, after a recovery, I don't have the queues necessary for the configmgr to function properly.

In Message Broker 5.0, is there a way to force MQ to recreate those objects (analgous to strmqm -c) for the configmgr and broker?

I really don't want to have to recreate and redeploy every time I have to manually recreate a queue manager from a backup.

I noticed that there is a mqsibackupconfigmgr command, but that appears to be a 6.0 new feature....

For example, I'm missing these objects:

Channel:
SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG

Queues:
SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.QUEUE
SYSTEM.BROKER.CONTROL.QUEUE
SYSTEM.BROKER.EXECUTIONGROUP.QUEUE
SYSTEM.BROKER.IPC.QUEUE.2308.2006121917583374
SYSTEM.BROKER.IPC.QUEUE.2824.2006121917583372
SYSTEM.BROKER.IPC.QUEUE.2964.2006121917583360

Did you do a SAVEQMGR after you created the CM and any broker that may share the QMGR?

Yes, but I usually do not include System objects in my SAVEQMGR images. (And I did not include them in this case.)

Well, I guess you could do a work around for SYSTEM.BROKER queues. They will be the same for all QMGRs with a CM. There are several queues that are unique to the broker, so you may need three versions of this script.

1) for CM only
2) for broker only
3) for CM and Broker

I've done this with versions before v6, but not with v6.
