We use MQSeries and the link for R/3 to transfer idocs between SAP and non-SAP systems. The problem occurs in the SAP-inbound traffic. I can not get a clear specification of the checks that the link makes when a messages comes in that contains an idoc. The link keeps putting msgs onto the bad queue.(reason: 'invalid length for an idoc')

I figure the error occurs in R/3 Link header we attach before the control record.

What are the requirements/rules for incoming idocs ?

Also wht settings have to be done on R/3 side?(maybe Im missing some)
