Hi All,
I would like to know, how to seperate the dead letter header and the message through application so that I can take the message for reprocessing.
Thanks,
Vasu. |

Hi Vasu,
Messages in DLQ i prefixed with a Dead-Letter Header (MQDLH), it's documented in Application programmin ref.
To process the messages, you write a small program (i've done it), to get msgs of the DLQ and if appropicate put it back on the original queue or where you want it, without the MQDLH. There are a support pack for this topic: MS71.
Good luck. _________________ Regards, Jørgen

Vasu,
which are the reasons that keep you from using the product supplied dead letter queue handler (runmqdlq) to perform this task? It enables you to do what you want automatically through the FORWARD and HEADER keywords.
Just a thought,
