Hi,
Iam new to MQ Series. I am using IBM websphere MQ Series.I have one input MQ, one output MQ and java application. I want to read the message from input MQ and get messages into a file. This file will be processaed by the java application and will generate the output file.I have to write this output file to output MQ. where can I get the MQQueue name and MQQueueManager name?.To do this process, how can I proceed?. from where I start?. How the MQ mesage structure looks like?. while writing the message to MQ what setting are needed?.DO I need to use the JMS Message listeners to listen to the input MQ..FOr stand alone application how can I proceed.Can any body help please.. |

Thanks lot for your reply. As a beginner how can i start run my Mq sample code on my system. Please let me know the steps to run it. what are the names i should give for MQQueueManager and MQQueueName.. for MQQueue Name should i give"SYSTEN.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE"?. |

no i will not tell you. As you are a beginner you should read first about mq, about the applications and about how things work. this will answer most of your questions.
do some work on your own first, then you will also receive help here. but unless you do so, the only thing you receive is a rtfm (at least from me). _________________ Regards, Butcher |
