hi evry one.
i had an issue with the qmanager command server. We are using Websphere mq 5.3 and csd7. on windows. We have created a queuemanager and few objects.Set up the distributed communication with a AS/400 machine. But we are having the following issue with the sender channel on the windows machine.
when we start the channel on the windows side it is going into retry state.we have pinged the channel which is giving AMQ4032(command server not responding withjin the timed out period).
checked out for logs where it is showing the licence units not sufficient .used setmqcap.Tried again but stilll showing the same error, and no fdc's created .
Can some one help eith this.

Hi
Please issue,
strmqcsv <your qmgr-name >
This command will start the Command server,
setmqcap is used to set the maximum number of processes,
Please let us know the status
Thanks and Regards

Hi,
Alright,i hope that there are 2 queue mangers one at Windows OS and one at AS/400, am i right, if not please let me know.
you connected both of them using sender - Recv channels.
please ensure that the command server is running on the AS/400 machine (i didn't work on AS/400 at all)
using dspmqcsv <your qmgr at AS/400>
and let me know the status
Thanks and Regards

If the target queue manager is not running, a command server is not running for that queue manager, an authorization failure occurs, then the error message displayed is usually as follows:
Command server not responding within timeout period. (AMQ4032)
and let me know the status
Thanks and Regards

Hi
So both the command servers are running, as you said,
Few Steps
-----------
1. Close the MQ Explorer
2. start it using strmqcfg -c (just execute this one in the command prompt)
and let me know the status
Thanks and Regards

Why is it in RETRYing?
What made you think that the sequence number was the problem?
There should be an error that tells you why it's in retrying.
What error is that? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
