Hi All,
WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message broker both support publish/subscribe. I want to know what is the difference, we can use WebSphere MQ pub-sub without Message broker I guess, so if we are using MQ + Message broker, what additional functions would we get for pub-sub over only MQ?

What you basically get in the Message Broker that is not part of the MQ Broker, is the ability to perform message transformation, imbeded business logic in Message flows and handling of multiple transport types (real time, multi-cast) along with a host of other capabilities.
If you don't need the services, then the vanilla pub/sub may suit you needes. I would recommend reading:
