Which repository is used for team development in MB? it is Eclipse workplace?

Also, what mechanism do the practioners (I am not talking about what doc says, but what exactly is used in practice) use for version control?

Can we think BAR file as version control mechanism in addition deployment?

BAR files are certainly not version control. If nothing else, use CVS.
