1.How can the message flows be monitored in MessageBroker? Is there any built in capabilities to check the status of message flows apart from debugging?
2.In case of MB V6, the configuration Manager uses a File to store the configuration instead of DB.can configuration Manager be configured to a DB?
Please answer this...
Thanks |

Do you mean "monitored" in terms of performance, or monitored for errors & correct opperation?

No, and why would you want to? Seriously, what's the requirement? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I mean monitored for errors & correct opperation?
2. About the configuration Manager, there is no requirement to configure it to DB..I was just checking for a possibility to do that way... |

Much as you'd monitor any other OS process. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Your MQ monitoring tool can raise events on queue depth and also if the queues that drive message flows have the queue open input count > 0.
If the queue depth is not increasing and the queue is open for input then generally the message flow is working. |

If you are trying to detect serious errors like a broker going down, or otherwise not processing messages, then Tivoli has a product. I don't remember the name.
If you want to extract business information from your message flows so that your analysts can work out how the business is running, then you should take a look at the new WebSphere Business Monitor integration features in message broker v6.1.0.3. |
