I'm traying to monitor a server with MQ Series (V5.3.0.2) using Tivoli Monitoring for business integration (V5.1.1).
I have 2 queue manager in the server (endpoint ctovarvitual).
I configure the queue manager in the tivoli desktop.
but when I do in a console in the monitor desktop: "wtmntlseng.exe -e ctovarvirtual", I always get a "Retrying (110)" for the Resources MQ_Queue and MQ_Channel. The other two resources (MQ_ErrorLog and MQ_QueueManager) are running.

I cofigure the trace for the endpoint to have the most messages as possible. in the log for the tivoli endpoint i get:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aug 09 16:24:27 2 WebSphere_MQ_Channel 1820 Start VisitTree
Aug 09 16:24:27 2 WebSphere_MQ_Channel 1820 No Instances returned. QueueMgr FMCQM must be DOWN.
Aug 09 16:24:27 2 WebSphere_MQ_Channel 1820 End VisitTree
Aug 09 16:24:27 2 Analyzer 1820 The Script is being left
Aug 09 16:24:27 0 Analyzer 1820 Error while visiting the decision tree WebSphere_MQ_Channel step number 0
Aug 09 16:24:27 0 Analyzer 1820 Retrying VisitTree of the resource model WebSphere_MQ_Channel at step number 0, due to temporary failing condition (return code 710)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this log includes the name of the MQ Manager that the script is looking. (I do that change in the js files).

I can ping the queue manager from the tivoli desktop. It response that the MQ Manager is UP

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Task Endpoint: FMCQM@ctovarvirtual (MqM_QMgr)

Starting MQSC for queue manager FMCQM.

CTQ2196I Queue Manager (FMCQM) is UP
CTQ2197I Queue Manager icon state updated
##################################################

CTQ9008I Task Completed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone knows why the Svc.GetNumOfInst("MQQMgr"); call in the WebSphere_MQ_Queue.js and WebSphere_MQ_Channel.js allways returns 0 if the MQ Manager is RUNNING????.

Thanks for any advice.
