Hi All,
I am currently going through the docs for WBI Adapters for Oracle Apps. However it seems quite similar to WBI JDBC adapter for Oracle. The integration scenario is for Message Broker 5.0
For eg: In both cases there is the use of Event Table, Archive Table and the names of the table along with the structure are the same.
In connector specific property I find that there are some values that are unique to the Apps adapter like PreparedStatementCacheSize, DriverSupportForLong, ReturnDummyBOForSP.
I do understand that using JDBC adapter I can connect to other databases like MS-SQL Server etc.
However I wonder why we need to use a separate adapter for Oracle Apps and not the JDBC adapter for Oracle. Do we have any significant advantages for using the latter?
Actually I am confused bcoz I know almost nothing of Oracle Apps . Is there any link / reference that can give me idea as to what is the basic difference between the two cases?
