hi evry one ,
i need some small clarification.
I am pretty new to mq.
I recently read from a source which consisits of questions and answers.
One of the questions is like this.
What is the minimum number of channels required for communication between 2 qmanagers.(ANS: one)
but what i learnt from other read books is that we require atleast two channels for the two qmanagers to communicate(sender and receiver) or any other pair.
Or does that mean a sender receiver channel pair or something like that .or ,is it some thing else.
please do reply.
I will b great ful for ur feedback. |

It all depends....
If you have an fire and forget application (one way), it's correct with one channel set.
If you like to have a two way connunication you need correctly two sets of channels.

I too thought the same , but the answer is not a "channel set".only one " channel".So this made me think of this .
should this be right. |

The answer really is how you define a channel
You can say that there is only ONE channel but it is made up of TWO parts a SENDER and RECEIVER
So if one way communication is required then ONE channel is required if teh communication is TWO way then TWO channels are required. |
