Hi.
Is there anyone out there who has set up Omegamon XE agent to monitor a queue manager in a MSCS cluster? Or have some tip about where to find information about this?
I've tried to install it but when I move the cluster group to the server where I didn't create the queue manager (and move it to the shared disk) it will give me an alert about the path to the queue manager (that is the default path where the queue manager does not exist at anymore).
Hope you can help me out
Best regards

You may have to set up symlinks using the default path...

No such thing as symlinks on Windows, FJ. At least, as far as I know...
I'd personally try installing the Omegamon agent after the MSCS cluster had been created and the Queue Manager was in it. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff I thought you would run a unix clone on your windows box in command mode? as such you should be able to have a symlink right? Oh right I believe it is Wayne who is doing this... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

That's a nice way of saying you missed that Dragon said "MSCS", isn't it?
I suppose one could mount a UFS partition in Windows in some manner or another, and then create symlinks in that UFS partition... but they still wouldn't show up as symlinks in Windows - they'd have to show up as regular files or directories. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
