I'd start by defining my performance requirements, based on SLAs and business requirements.
Then, I'd turn those requirements into test cases.
Then I'd make sure that I can gather all of the needed metrics to produce results from those test cases.
Then I'd worry about how to implement those test cases.
And then I'd use MA0T to implement those test cases.
But, then again, I usually try to make sure I know what I'm doing before I start trying to do it.
