mqsi log files

Can the files that are in /var/mqsi/common/log be deleted whithout have the risk of damaging a object (broker, cfg mgr ...)

I don't have a solaris environment.
My setup is on Windows.
I stopped the services for the Config Mgr and the broker.
Deleted all files under the log directory.
Restarted Config Mgr : 4 files created in log
Restarted Broker : 6 files created in log
Started control center : 2 files created in log

Everything is working fine till now.

it will probably have a similar behaviour under unix.
