Hi,

When using mqsireportproperties to display the ComIbmJVMManager details, it returns a value of -1 for jvmMaxHeapSize. Here is the full command:

mqsireportproperties <Broker> -e <EG> -o ComIbmJVMManager -a

What does -1 mean? and what does it evaluate to??

Platform: Solaris 9
WBIMB 5 CSD07

Thanks
Ahmed

-1 means to use the default value for this parameter, which is 128Mb.

But how could this value be 128MB if the jvmMinHeapSize is 134MB??

What that means is that the JVM will do exactly the same thing as every other JVM will do when the -Xms is larger than the -Xmx.

I'd guess that it would assume the larger value for -Xmx.

Regardless, the answer to your question is still "-1 means 'use the default value'".
