Hi All,
We are using WBIMB V5.0 and CSD 5 on Solaris server. There are 5 brokers running and in each broker one - two execution groups present. There are around 2-3 message flows. We have attached User trace to all the flows.
I want to know where these trace files are located ? And if I remove these files will it going to harm proper functioning of the flows ?
Whenever I use mqsitrace commands I get the trace file only for 1-2 transactions and not the whole trace log. Is this mean the trace file will be generated only at the particular period and automatically they will be deleted ?

Thank You
MSAT

have a look closely at documentation of mqsichangetrace, mqsireadlog and mqsiformatlog commands to get a clear idea on how to set trace level, read the log created and format it into user friendly log file format.
Regards,
Anoop

Reading about the TRACE nodie itself might be useful:

If you want to write the trace record to the system-generated user trace log, select User Trace.

These records are written regardless of the setting of the User Trace property for the deployed message flow.

The user trace is written to the \log subdirectory of the root directory (for example, the default on Windows 2000 is c:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Message Broker). The file name is made up of the broker name, the broker UUID, and a suffix of userTrace.bin (for example, broker.e51906cb-dd00-0000-0080-b10e69a5d551.userTrace.bin.0). Use the mqsireadlog and mqsiformatlog commands before you view the user trace log.
