Hi all,
A basic question on service objects... Can anyone please give me an example of when do we use Server service object and Command Service object? I do understand that the server service obj can only have one instance at a time and the later one can have multiple instances.
When and how do we use these service objects?
Please give me a real time example if possible.
I appreciate your reply
Thank you

What product are we dealing with here?
WebSphere MQ V6, of course.....
Yes, the basic idea of service objects is to allow you to control the starting (and stopping) of programs when the queue manager starts. In terms of examples, I can think that perhaps you want to start one or more instances of a "server" business application when the qmgr starts up. An of course, trigger monitors would be another use. _________________ -wayne
