This was running sucessfully till yesterday.

I have checked the .odbc.ini file and nothing has been changed

when i do ps -eaf there are no services running for the broker.

It certainly appears that either the userid/password for the broker was changed - or - the userid/password for the database was changed.

That is what the message is telling you.

Your task is to determine which pair of userid/passwords was changed.

Hi Chitrali
As it seems to be a DB problem, I would like to know the versions that you are using.

If you are on WBIMB 6.0 then you just need to alter the mqsisetdbparms value from the command prompt.

But if you are on the MQSI 2.1 version then you have to configure your DB to the user name and password that you have for your broker DB.

Tell me if this works
