If there is already existing "Customized UPES Framework", is it worth implementing/migrating to "IBM UPES Framework"?
Can anyone tell me the advantage/disadvantage of adapting "IBM UPES Framework"? |

I would say it depends
How many custom UPESs you have?
How good are they working
Are there any support issues
Are you planning to move away from workflow to a newer supported products like Process Server
If I were you, if the app is working good, no issues, the developers are happy, leave it as it is. No reason to break something that is working.
Yes there are definitely some advantages using the IBM framework. |

There are over 30 UPES services, and working good last 5 years without any issue. "IBM UPES framework" implementation seemed too much works, but too little advantage to the current system.
Is there any disadvantage or not suitable environment?
Anyway, thanks vennela. |

If they are working for that long, I wouldn't touch them.
Some of the advantages I think are, they are IBM standard, you can open PMR if you have issues, etc.
But I would say your stability far out weighs the advantages. |
