When I try to install this fix pack on a 5.3 installation, from all outward appearances, the installation proceeds smoothly. No overt error messages, or indications of problems anyway.
When you run "mqver" to confirm the new CSD07 is in place, still says 5.3 with no fix pack 7 installed.
Turns out it is because the new CSD07 \bin files have not copied over and replaced their older counterparts.
Anyone had this problem? Am working with an IBM tech on the problem, but they don't have an answer yet.

Is it possible you could install the latest CSD (number 12 at time of writing)? CSD07 is very old code, and many problems have been fixed since then. |
