We have a situation where we use SRDF on an AIX box so that our PROD box is basically mirrored on to a Disaster Recovery(DR) box. All of the mqm and fmc directories are copied over as well as the Workflow database.
We have successfully tested this several times, but there is something I do not understand. The file /var/fmc/chltabs/FMCWFCHL.TAB is not altered when the DR box is brought up. It contains the host name of the prod server. (The queue manager name is the same on both boxes).
PROD and DR are both up and running at the same time.
Now to the questions:
How does this work?
Does WF always assume the QM is local, and not use the value in the CHL.TAB file?
