I am unable to change the authorizations for workitems with a staff member via fdl into runtime.
For example, I have a user User1 who has authorization on User1 and User2 workitems. I removed User2 from the authorization list in buildtime, exported the fdl and imported it into runtime (with the overwrite flag passed in). When I export User1's permissions from runtime, he still has authorization on User1 AND User2.
Is this a bug in Buildtime? Or in fmcibie? |

Change the permissions for staff in build time and then deploy it into runtime..You cannot change directly in runtime. |

When you are changing the Authoriuzations of User1..It does not matter what you are doing to User2.
You have to change the Authorizations of User1,"Removing Access to User2 workItems" and Then Import the FDL. |

OK....I see where my message isn't clear about this and it's looking like noone has run into this problem before.
User1 has User1 and User2 under his authorizations. That is currently in Buildtime and in runtime.
I remove User2 from the authorizations for User1. So, now, User1 just shows that he has authorizations for himself...User1.
I export that to an FDL....from Buildtime.
I take the fdl and try to import it into runtime (via fmcibie with the -o flag set to overwrite).
It does NOT update the user in runtime.
I run fmcibie -e to get the permissions for User1. It still shows "AUTHORIZED_FOR WORKITEMS_OF 'User1' 'User2' in runtime.
To reduce the authorizations, we are having to transfer current work to another user, delete the User1 and then reimport User1 with the desired setting.
I'm under the assumption that this is a bug in workflow. Does anyone know of a fixpack or something to fix it?
This is version 3.5.0 |

Yes, it IS a bug in Buildtime and documented with APAR IY69432.
It has been fixed in 3.5 SP#5. |

Thanks. We'll apply the SP and see if that takes care of it. |
