If there are java nodes in the application, which is the better way to package - bar or par. If we expose java functionality thru java compute node, bar file creation brings in the java node's jar file as well in the bar but doesnt include other dependent libraries. But this can be done for par.
Pl advice. |

I think PAR files are only for plugins, not for flows, sets, and java compute nodes.
That is, I don't know if configmgr/cmp will deploy a par file for you. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

It won't. The Config Manager will only deploy XSL, XML, JAR, CMF and dictionary files contained within broker archives.
