Hi,

I created to queue managers(QM1, QM2) in Windows 2000 Professional, with IBM WebSphere MQ 5.3. The two queue managers are created in two different ports(1515 & 1616). I created 2 channels for both QM1 & QM2. When i am trying to start the channel i am getting the below given message.

E:\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin>runmqchl -m QM1 -c QM1.QM2
5724-B41 (C) Copyright IBM Corp. 1994, 2002. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
05/19/2006 11:23:47 Channel program started.
05/19/2006 11:23:47 AMQ9220: The TCP/IP communications program could not be loaded.
05/19/2006 11:23:47 AMQ9999: Channel program ended abnormally.

I tried by giving the wsock32.dll in tcp/ip for library1 property as shown below: Still i am facing the same problem.
C:\WINNT\system32\wsock32.dll

It will be a great help if any one help me in this.

Thanks & Regards
Srinivas

Well, I would say the first thing to do is to put MQ service (a csd) on that qmgr. It looks like it has NO service on it ....

From the given hyperlink, i took "WebSphere MQ v5.3 Interim Fix for Fix Pack 9 (CSD09): IY69761, Interim fix for APAR IY69761 - Windows".
It gave one "imqb23vn.dll". I placed it in bin folder.

I also started "amqmdain start QM1". With this I am able to see "Channel Initiator" came to running state.

When i try to start the listener, it saying:
"The service could not be started. The process has terminated with return code 20. (AMQ4128)". The AMQ4128 is ikeyman not able to start.

Am i missing any thing here? Please correct me.

Thanks & regards

Download and install the FULL FixPack/CSD 12.

Not an interim fix for some CSD or another.

Apply the full fix pack 12.

I installed CSD12 full fixpack. Now i am able to run the channels and listeners. I am trying to test the SSL functionality between queue managers and channels.

I have two queue managers QM1(1515), QM2(1616).

QM1 have two channels
1. QM1.QM2(sender)
2. QM2.QM1(receiver)

QM2 have two channels
1. QM2.QM1(sender)
2. QM1.QM2(receiver)

I set two digital certificates to two queue mangers and exchanged the authorization certificates as well.

For sender and receive channels, i set the SSL standard settings to TRIPPLE_DES_SHA_US.

Now if i put some message to QM2:
amqsput TO.QM2 QM1

The message is getting encrypted and showing in my java port sniffer program.

Thing is i want to see actual message under my java program without encrypting. For this i changed the SSL standard setting to none for both sender and receiver, but still i am able to see the message in encrypted form only.

How can i ensure my SSL is working correctly.

Regards
Srinivas
