How do you start a listener from runmqsc? the thing is I want to be able to start the listener from a termninal without opening an other window to issue the command runmqlsr -m queuemanagername -t tcp. I know that the listener can be started from inetd.conf on solaris? If I kill the listener is there a way to start it without rebooting the machine? I hope you got the question right. Thanks very much.

Sam,
As far as I know you can't start the channel listener from runmqsc. You may try starting the receiver channel in runmqsc (this might start the channel listener automatically but I'm not too sure about that). I'm just curious but why would you kill the channel listeners anyway? If you want to take the queue manager offline temporarily you should just use endmqm. This way, when it starts back up it will restart all the necessary listener processes... _________________ Brandon Duncan
