This is the scenario:
Cluster1 has three queue managers - QM_A,QM_B,QM_C
QM_A and QM_B each have a local queue of the same name- ab
I have to use QM_C as a gateway to route messages from a QM(QM_EXT) outside the cluster to either queue(hosted by QM_A or QM_B).
Could someone tell me:
1) If I need to make the queues ab shareable
2) How to make QM_C function as a gateway?
3) The QM_EXT has a remote queue definiton to the local queue 'ab'.
Which queue manger should i mention as the remote queue manager(QM_A or QM_B)?

Thanks

This is discussed in the Clusters manual (qv).

I've got some deja vu going here....

You need an queue manager alias (amongst other things). Check out the Clusters manual or the online info centre

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/index.jsp

You're looking for the section "Using Queue Manager Clusters" \ "Using alias and remote-queue definitions with clusters". The PDF has a helpful diagram, but both lay out this exact scenario in greater details and with more clarity than I could hope to manager.
