Hi, I'm not sure if the odbc.ini file needed for remote access broker odbc data source.

Are you asking if there should be an entry in .odbc.ini for the broker to access a remote database? Or do you mean the broker database residing on a remote machine?

An entry is required for the broker to access any database. For any DSN that you specify in the compute node or any other applicable node, you need to make a stanza in the .odbc.ini file.

that database is on the a machine there the broker need to access remote batabase, the database is just for the usage of broker not application
