Hi ,

I have to monitor MQ and MB services ,with both component running on remote server.
HUB details are
OS : Unix
Components: MQ 6.0 , WBIMB 6.0 and SAP XI

This monitoring has to be automatic .Is there any monitoring tool which will make my task easier? I think Tivoli can be used but not sure .

Most of the monitoring tools that I know of have tools to monitor WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker.

But most of the broker monitoring tools require or at least strongly suggest that you add special nodes to your flows.

There's a lot that can be monitored in WMB 6 without special nodes. But the monitoring tools people may not have caught up to WMB 6 in their development cycle yet. You'll have to ask and see.

"Tivoli" is a brand, like "WebSphere" - you'll have to dig deeper to find the right Tivoli product. Your IBM sales rep will be happy to help you with this process.
