I've installed WMB v6.
When I run the Default Configuration Wizard, I get "Starting Configuration Manager failed". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn't work.
In total I've installed in 16 machines of which only 4 or 5 throw errors and rest works properly. I've maintained the same installation procedure for all the machines.

In 2 more machines I'm getting "Creating Configuration Manager Failed"
What is the problem?

I've posted the error I'm getting from the log file.
The account I'm using is adminstrator account and the account is valid.

Ensure that the service userid and password are still valid. Ensure that the service userid has permission to access all of the products directories, specifically the 'bin' and 'log' directories. Check for system messages (on Windows NT this would be the application event log).

First off, ensure that your userid is a member of the Administrators group and is made up of no more than twelve characters.

My userid is in the Administrator grp. and it is just 6 characters long and password is also just 8 char long.
It finally worked, when I created another login with admin rights and tried it with that userid.
