one of my apps connect MQ on a different domain
all the users added to MQ & having no problems connecting
there is 1 user that worked fine until few days ago then she started getting this message:
"unable to initialize queue manager"
when it started I found this error in the log:
AMQ8075: Autorization failed because the SID for entity 'domain\username' cannot be obtained
I reissued the autherization for that user but keep getting the same error,
only difference is that now non of the error logs show anything on this error!
I tried that login on 2 different PCs, same error
other login on these PCs work fine. |

Have you done refresh security
What application programming language
Client mode or bindings mode
I think more info is needed.
If using JMS, have you tried catching the linked exception |

I'm the network guy so my idea of MQ is not that broad but I'll try:
Have you done refresh security - we rebooted the MQ server
What application programming language - C++\VB
Client mode or bindings mode - Client
I think more info is needed. - what other info might help?
If using JMS, have you tried catching the linked exception |

Go ask the network adminisrators what the heck they did. In my experience these type of errors are usually the security people screwing things up by moving groups/userid around or changing permissions on the fly.
Of course these people don't ever believe in change comms either |

Or changing permissions on the MQ user so that he can no longer enquire about (domain) group membership....
