When configuring the SendMail plugin in WMQI 2.1 we specified the Name of the From person in the Properties of the Plugin Node. i.e., appUser.ID@abc.com. and this worked well.
Now, having migrated to WBIMB (code effectively unchanged), the specified Sender is substituted with the service user id of the broker. i.e., mqsiuser@abc.com. Any thoughts on what would cause this behaivor?
These are running on AIX 5.2. _________________ Thanks,

Check to make sure you installed the SMTP version of the plugin, and not the sendmail one.

Thanks for the pointer. I missed the distinction when planning the install.
I removed the "From person" from the SMTP properties and set the "From Person (-fname)" in the Sendmail properties. It now behaves as desired.
Thanks for the reply. _________________ Thanks,

But, you migrated the code, so your original setup was using the SMTP version of the plugin. So, wouldn't the easier fix have been to replace the sendmail jar with the SMTP jar. That way, no code chnages.
