| installing broker V5 CSD6 on AIX. installed teh base version and then the CSD. when i go and look at the usr/opt/mqsi directory i see some directories missing. i do not see a jplugin directory, catalina,_ibjvm,docs,include.. |

Do you have the right CSD6 for Mesage broker, and not the CSD6 for Event Broker?
This is a common problem.

| having a hard time finding any install logs. is there a install log on AIX atall? |

found mqsi5.log on /var/adm/sw
doesnt look like its got any errors. |

thanks that helped. i only see a mqsi.ev
looks like i only have the event broker installed. |

| i performed a custom install and slected just he broker. should i also select the broker extensions if i want the message broker? |
