This is a known error; you need to apply APAR IC47922 (or Toolkit FP01).
Alternatively, workaround by starting the toolkit from within a command console.

Open a problem record with IBM Service and they'll instruct you how to get the APAR.

This handy little url will get you to the description:

jeeth,
Have your problem solved?

As far as I know, it is coming from not setting MCA in the Broker channel.
Please set MCA user id with user name (jeeth) in SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG channel of the queue manager of configmgr. Then try to connect.
Let me know the result.

Problem is not resolved yet.
Now when i start the toolkit from command console i dont get a 2035.
But im getting this:

"Webspehere sutio is experiencing problem in communicating with configuration manager on WBI"
WBI is the Qmanager name.

i set the MCA userID to "mqm". then i started getting jeeth@Domain not authorised. this time its not the machine name.
I have the domain name authorised for all the groups.
also created acl entry with jeeth aswell as jeeth@machinename and jeeth@domainname.
still no luck....

I think i will be better off removing V6 and going back to V5

Hi jeeth_m,

What is the admin user id for WBI...i.e which local id did you install and create broker with ?
You now have a domain user, is it part of the admin group and have MQ and MB authorizations ?
Are the queue managers and broker/configMgr started and running ?

Regards.

Configmanager was installed using a domain user ID. its different that jeeth.
Yes. My ID has admin access on both system.
Configmanager is running since i was able to connect to it with a tool kit installed on the same box. ( ie machine B).
only client connection has issues.

Hey,
Don't be upset. I told you to set 'jeeth' as MCA user, not 'mqm'. Check your luck now.

Hi jeeth_m,
I am not very sure about this but I remember creating a server connection channel when I had an issue like this.

Create a server connection channel by the name SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN and set the MCA as jeeth.

Regards.

Issue resolved.
There was some problem with the acl entry created.
Thanks much for all the inputs.
Value in mca doesnt really matter. it can be left blank.
