Is the MQMD's Format set to MQSTR?
If not then that might be the problem

Hi vinbud117,
Is the message coming to the Broker ?

If Yes then handle it there itself.

Regards.

hi Elvis,

It comes to broker.... but as i mentioned when the msg comes to the broker the CCSID is set as 437 but the data is in EBCDIC.. a mismatch...

tho i m using am handling in the broker, by using a compute node for setting the ccsid back to 500 n then convertin it again to ASCII, i m trying to c if it can come to the broker in ASCII.

thks
vinay

Hi vinbud117,

I'm doing the very same thing in my flows. Try directly to 819 instead of 437. You dont have to set to 500 and from that to another....

Regards.
