Hi All,
Right now am generating XML messages (with name spaces) using ESQL code from TDS message sets. My question is which is the best way, ESQL code or Messagesets to generate XML messages. Can any body advise on this.
Info:
1. Need to generate multiple XMLmessages from different TDS messagesets.
2. WBIMB 5, Fixpack 6

You're using the wrong terms.
A schema is the same thing, sort of, as a message set. These are both logical descriptions of messages. ESQL manipulates messages, not logical descriptions of messages.
You are asking, I believe, if it is better to create XML messages (that match an XML Schema) using ESQL, or if you should create a message set from the schema, and use MRM XML.
Do you need to validate your XML messages against the schema? If so, you need to create a message set from the schema, and use MRM XML.
If you do not need to validate your XML messages against the schema, then you can use dynamically generated XML. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
