We have used the Local/SAM User Accounts for access to remote configuration managers from our local toolkit. We added our local "username@hostname" as a local user on the remote configuration manager server. This is on Windows 2000 servers with WBIMB v5.
However, on a Windows 20003 server, we get an error about the "@" when entering "username@hostname" as a local user. We had hoped to use the same approach for accessing the remote configuration manager with Windows 2003 hosting WBIMB v6.
Does anyone know if the approach to using the "username@hostname" as a local user should work on Windows 2003?
