We have a Linux V5 broker whose HTTPListener is not starting up. Is there a setting to prevent the HTTPListener running, if it is not required, that may have been inadvertently set? There are no error messages and no port conflicts. A V6 broker on the same server has its listener running, as do V5 brokers on other servers. |

Hi,
Check whether the following parameter is set or not
MQSI_DONT_RUN_LISTENER
If it is set to 'y', remove it.
Thanks,
Pranava. |

Also, the HTTPListener doesn't start until a flow with an HTTP input node is deployed. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks, that was it. I thought I had come across this undocumented feature before. For some reason the thread that mentions it did not come up in a search...although it did when I tried again just now. |
