Suddenly this is my problem.
Queue's like the SYSTEM.JMS.ND.SUBSCIBER.QUEUE fill up and that causes the SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE to fill up which fills up the /var/mqm filesystem.
You log onto the server and your lucky if the sample scripts are there.
You may or may not be able to run them as mqm, you may have to be was or root.
Same goes for MQSC commands.
200,000+ messages can be dropped into the SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE but no mention of this will be recorded in the /var/mqm/qmgrs/WAS_<servername>_jmsserver/errors/AMQERR0*.LOG's.
Did they not mention the whole concept of a default MQManager in the Quick Beginnings Guide for an individual who is building a dedicated WAS5.1 Server using the native WMQ JMS Messaging?.... _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial.
