Hi all,
I have a question about the persistent msgs and queues. I want to keep messages persistently and I have alias, local(normal), local(xmit) and remote queues in the flow. I have to configure all queues to be persistent, am I right?
Thank you so much. |

No. Persistence is an attribute of the message. So, if a message is PUT as persistent, it will always be that, regardless of the queue it's sitting on. The persistent attribute of the queue is only used when a message is PUT with the setting "as queue".

Thank you for your answer, EddieA
On my system, Messages are put in queues by default option, it should be "Non-persistence", and queues are set to "Non-persistence" too. I found problems of lost msgs when N/W problem occured. And IBM engineer suggest me to configure queues to be persistent.
Any solution else for my problem? It made me so confused. |
