I am not able to enable monitoring events dropping to the queue.

I have a local queue( not shared platform is windows2003).
I have enabled Service Interval Event and High Depth event and set related parameters through MQ Explorer facility then started a message putter program but netiher service interval nor high depth events are there. I have restarted QM and IBM service also and neither did help.

It seems I am missing some part

Did you enable the Events in the QMGR.

Sounds obvious but...Are you actually getting to a situation where an event should be raised?
