Hi,

I just don't seem to be able to remove WBIMB. I used add/remove wizard, but it just doesn't remove it, as I can still see the WBIMB on the add/remove list.

Is there any other way of removing WBIMB completly fromt he system? I have tried a couple of things, like removing the registry and deleting the directories, but when I try to reinstall WBIMB, it fails because it thinks that WBIMB is already installed with a higher version. I got into this problem when I was trying tp backout a CSD level, and the only way to di this is to uninstall WBIMB and then reinstalling it (very clever !!!!!)

Thanks in advance

Hi jonny,
There are 3 Websphere Icons in the Add/Remove.....I hope u are not confusing the others with the one you are deleting.....? just a guess...

If you are getting an error saying that MB with CSd is already available, then it means that it wasen't deleted properly....U have to find something else in the registry i guess, now that u have already deleted the folders etc....

Regards.

Hi

I have had a lot of practice with this recently.

Use the mqsideletexxxxxxxx commands first then use the Add/Remove panel.

I have recently been using vmWare for a series of POC work - very useful, you can roll back, delete etc in a click.

Best wishes
