I am setting up a proof of concept for MQ Workflow 3.6. I am using the “MQSeries Workflow for Windows NT for Beginners” Redbook.
I built the order fulfillment example:
-- I verified it (Process --> Verify) no warnings, no errors.
-- I exported it to FDL, no warnings, no errors.
-- I imported it (yes, with –t) into runtime, no warnings no errors.
When I log in, the runtime client and my Process Templates list is empty. Any suggestions? |

Are you logging in as the System Administrator?
Which client are you using? Try both.
If so and there are no templates, then I would imagine that there was a problem with the import.
Do an export from your runtime database. Do you see the template? If not it has not been imported... if so, then I need more information to figure out what the issue is. _________________ John McDonald

OK, I logged in as ADMIN and the process template showed up in the list.
I have about 3 hours experience with workflow, so bear with me...
Why did this not show up for the other user (admin authority) that I created?

My guess is that you have a "Category" assigned to the Process, and the use you logged in with is not authorized to that Category. _________________ John McDonald
