Hi
I am using MQSI2.1. I have a message flow in MRM domain. I want to create a duplicate flow for testing purposes. Can I do that without having to get the message sets then map them. Can I do sth like copy or import the message flow.
Sweety
I've had to do this numerous times. You can export the configuration as an XML file and import it onto the new machine. You will need to make sure that any details are changed before you import it though (ie: different queue manager name, etc).
I am not importing it to a different machine. I want to duplicate it on the same broker on the same machine in the same version.I want to do all the testing on the new flow so i dont have to interrupt the existing one.
Yes you can do this. Right click on message flow and copy it and try pasting in the same location, I mean if you have a message category, try pasting it in the same category. The new message flow will be of the OldMsgFlow_1. Make sure you change the input queue's so that you can have the same flow but with different queues so that you dont interrupt the existing one. Ofcourse you have to check-in after making the changes.
