The Agent controller is allowing me to connect to the server for a debug session. However, once I add a breakpoint to my flow the Agent Controller blows up and I then can't connect to the server without restarting the agent again.

I have faults in the System and App Event logs for the RAServer.exe....

Does anyone know what is happening?

Thanks,
Kevin

Are you using the right version of RAC for the FP of WBIMB you are using?

.. and disable the existing RAC service (if you are unable to uninstall the RAC..!!)

Ah... WBIM FP4 needs 5.0.2 Uggg.
Now I can debug locally on the server. My remote still isn't quite working... I can hook up to an exe group but I don't see any of the flows in the flow debug view and if I run a message through the flow nothing happens in the remote debugger. No errors, nothing....

One small step closer.

Yeah, thats the behaviour I'd expect if you were back-leveled on RAC. I assume you updated and recycled RAC on the reomte platform as well? (I don't mean to insult, but need to ask).

I only have the workbench on the remote pc.... Do I need to install RAC on my workstation also to debug?

P.S. - Insult me... Ha! Have you seen my posts. I have no intelligence left.

Thanks,
Kevin

sorry, by "remote" I thought you meant remote "broker", not remote workbench. No, you do don't need RAC on the workbench platform, only the broker platform.

At least in this frame of reference ...

If only e=mc^2 was my answer...

Any ideas on debugging from my workstation....

I looked through the agent logs and it is letting my workstation in. I don't have Windows Firewall on and my server's firewall logs show it going through (no drops/all allows).

I can debug from the server wo issue.

When I try from my workstation I can choose the server and the exe group but I don't get any of the flows in the group in the flow debug view and when I issue a breakpoint and put a message to the queue for this flow my debugger never fires?

When you installed RAC, did you specify security settings, or did you allow any host to connect?

I disabled security and set all computers to access. I have reviewed the agent log file and it is showing connections from my workstation.

Here's the log entries for my workstation (removed my IP)....

My workstation doesn't produce those extra items when I try to debug the flow.
