Hi,

the issue I am having has to do with the MQ clustering as well as the application server clustering, therefore I do not know, whether I am right here ...
Apologies in advance, if I am in the wrong newsgroup.

I do have a Cluster with 2 WebSphere MQ v5.3.1 instances and a Cluster with 2 WebSphere application server v6.0.2.1 instances.

The J2EE application containing message driven beans for is deployed on the WebSphere application server and will use WebSphere MQ as its messaging middleware.

I need to guarantee sequential message delivery and processing of incoming messages. Therefore I want to use the service integration bus within the application server, instead of the WebSphere MQ messaging provider. Beacause, in a case of a messaging engine failure within the application server, the next messaging engine within the cluster should start and take over of the message processing.

Issue
------
The application server uses a service integration bus with a foreign bus pointing to WebSphere MQ (using WebSphere MQ Link).

Within MQ the Sender Channel settings require a connection name.
Is it possible to specify the service integration bus or bootstrap server or the application server cluster itself, instead of specifying one specific host and port?

Within the application server instance, for a specified foreign bus when specifying the sender/receiver pair, the sender needs the host name and port set for its correspondent MQ receiver channel.
Is it possible to specify the MQ cluster sender channel instead of specifying a specific machine and its port?

A short hint is very appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance,

Cheers,
Kagan
