Hi All,
I tried installing MQ Workflow for Chinese(Simplified) on my laptop.
-->I found that the registry entry for language is shown as CHS.
-->The file fmcsetup.log in the LOG directory also shows installed language as CHS.
-->But I found that the BuildTime database and the Runtime database have the codepage set up as 1252 i.e default English for Windows. Is this normal?

We are using xml APIs to trigger a process in workflow and use UPES as many activity implementations.
Should the xml declarion for encoding be UTF-8 or ibm-1386 ?

e.g

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<WfMessage>
<WfMessageHeader>
<ResponseRequired>No</ResponseRequired>
</WfMessageHeader>
<ProcessTemplateCreateAndStartInstance>
<ProcTemplName>TEST_UNICODE</ProcTemplName>

etc...

or
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ibm-1386"?>
<WfMessage>
<WfMessageHeader>
<ResponseRequired>No</ResponseRequired>
</WfMessageHeader>
<ProcessTemplateCreateAndStartInstance>
<ProcTemplName>TEST_UNICODE</ProcTemplName>

Also when workflow puts the message into the UPES Queue, I found the xml encoding was UTF-8 again! and the chinese characters were again corrupted..

Is there anything missing in the installtion and configuration?
