I am seeing that one of the tables in WF Database called CONTAINER has some 7 million records in it. We thought that it should not be too big and worked with IBM to be told to go for a fix pack for WF ( as IBM thought the problem might be with clean up server )

Now the no.of records in that table is 11 million and the activity instance table is 7.5 million.

Is there any way for me to tell wether the fix pack solved our problem. In other words how do I know the cleanup server is really cleaning up stuff fine and my system is healthy?

Koko:

I think if you look in the Production Considerations PDF (one of the support pacs) you will see a database query you can do to see how many finished instances are in your database. I would run that to see if the problem is due to finished instances not being removed.

Thanks Jmac.

I checked it and it is around 700.

I think cleanup server is running fine. Is there any doc to find what gets stored in the CONTAINER table and how its saved?
