SCENARIO: I have installed the MQ client (v5.3) on a database server (SQL Server 2000, Windows 2000 Server) and am trying to get a database trigger to put a message on a queue when certain tables are updated or inserted.

PROBLEM: The trigger successfully creates the MQAX200.MQSession object, but fails when connecting to the queue manager with a reason code of 6000 (MQRC_LIBRARY_LOAD_ERROR).

TROUBLESHOOTING: To verify the MQ client was installed properly, we tested with utilities amqsgetc and amqsputc, which worked without problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? Since all the ActiveX objects come from the same DLL (MQAX200), I fail to see why one class should load and another should fail.
