I would like to think this is a daft question with an obvious answer but I can't find the answer...
Where is the New Era of Networks documentation for WBIMB v5?
Can anyone who has upgraded to this and retained/migrated their NEON/NNSY databases point me in the right direction please?
From the WBIMB help centre:

For instructions on how to migrate the New Era of Networks Rules and Formatter support for WebSphere MQ Integrator, see the New Era of Networks documentation. |
I'd expect it here but no luck:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/wbimessagebroker/rulesformatter/library/
And I can't find anything like documentation under the WBIMB install path folder rfe.
Thanks,
Vicky |

JT,
That is basically where I have got to... the "Migrating from WebSphere MQ Integrator Version 2.1 to WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker with Rules and Formatter Extension Version 5.0" information in the help centre... but it does not have any info about NNSY other than the quote I gave above.
It shouldn't be this hard just to find the documentation |

Thanks JT.
That forced me to open the pdf of the migration red book (http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg246995.pdf) and search there rather than browsing my printed copy. I quote:

Information on accomplishing these tasks is available through the Workbench
Help. In the list of publications that appears in the left-hand pane after installation
of the Rules & Formatter Extension, a new entry, “Rules & Formatter Extension”
appears. Expanding this entry reveals a list of documents, one being the System
Management Guide. |
So the answer is to look in the workbench help - not the help center downloaded via the MQ library.
Thanks again. |
